Wrinkle smoothing treatments target one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Your specialist will inject these muscles to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your brows.
Some patients report that the injections feel like a pinch. Your specialist may use ice to numb the treatment area. If you are concerned about discomfort, your specialist may apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.
You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours for moderate to severe frown lines, with results lasting up to 4 months.
After your treatment, you can resume your day. There is minimal downtime and your specialist may give you specific aftercare instructions.

So it is accurate to say that it can effectively cure certain kinds of wrinkles from within the skin, by boosting and utilising your natural processes. It has been reported that from the age of about twenty, each year we lose around 1% of the collagen and elastin from our skin tissue. Profhilo® is especially effective at treating loose skin in the neck, cheek and jowls as well as other areas usually considered difficult to treat with injectable products, such as the temples, forehead, hands and upper arms.
All the dermal fillers used by Geraldine Malone Aesthetics are long lasting and made from hyaluronic acid, which breaks down and is absorbed into the skin after around 6 to 18 months.
Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane, can be quickly dissolved using an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. This acts to disperse hyaluronic acid, speeding up the natural breakdown of the dermal filler. The use of hyaluronidase to remove fillers is off-license, so your practitioner will only go ahead if it is “in the best interest of the patient on the basis of available evidence”.
You should be able to spot the difference immediately as a non-surgical lift. Your skin will look dewy and revitalised in a totally natural way.
This procedure, custom designed by me for each individual’s facial needs, combines hyaluronic acid fillers and platelet rich plasma (PRP). The Juvederm filler is used to correct the most serious existing facial lines and create a more youthful appearance initially.
Then, the PRP is injected in strategic locations around the face to jumpstart the natural rejuvenation process. Over the next several weeks and months after the procedure, the PRP will contribute to maintain the more youthful appearance by improving skin quality, colour and texture.
